Vacation Bible School 

 

"HIGH SEAS: AN ADVENTURE IN FAITH"

June 17-21, 2013

 

"High seas: An Adventure in Faith" is the theme for our 2013 Vacation Bible School experience.  The five action-packed days will focus on the final missionary journey of St. Paul as he went from Jerusalem to Rome. We will find that Paul had many adventures and had to deal with them, just as we do in our daily lives. He had to realize that he was not in control of events, but that God was always with him. Paul had to learn to trust in God. God reassured him, protected and empowered him all along the journey as he shared the Good News of God's love. The highlighted words will be our theme words for the week as the kids hear and act upon the stories. There will be fun time for drama, music, arts and crafts, snacks, games, and just plain fun!

 

Plan now to come aboard for a high seas adventure - June 17-21, from 9:00 AM to Noon each day. There will be a closing program at 11:30 AM on Friday with a picnic for everyone afterwards. All children from age 3 through grade five are welcome to come along as participants. Kids who have finished fifth grade and up are also welcome to attend as helpers. They will get the same cool t-shirts and other fun items. All participants and helpers are asked to fill out the 2013 registration form below, or download a printed form  and mail it to:

As always, there is no cost for VBS at Calvary. There will be an opportunity to give a free-will donation at the picnic on Friday.
