WHAT WE’RE ABOUT:
Calvary Lutheran Church is about 3 things - this is what we try to focus our life together on:
WELCOME. We offer welcome to all who want to know and follow Jesus’ way of life and love. This means everyone is invited - there are no boundaries, no obstacles, no limits to God’s love, so there are none in our welcome.
WORSHIP. We worship God together. This means every Sunday we gather to hear the Word, share the Sacraments, sing and pray together. Worship is our time to connect, to receive and give, to be refreshed and renewed.
WITNESS. We are sent out to be with and help our neighbors, our community and our world. This means that we share the love of God in all the ways we can - supporting food shelves, serving meals, teaching children, working for stronger, safer, healthier communities - and in many other ways.
